Spring Talks take place consecutive Wednesday mornings, April 10 to May 8, at Innis College, 2 Sussex Ave. Coffee at 9:30, talk at 10:15 (Bruce Sellery on April 17 begins at 10:00). Academy members are invited to bring friends and encourage them to become members. Non-members admitted for $10 per talk.

Coming by public transit: Innis is a short walk south of the St. George station. Take the St. George St. exit out of the station.

By bicycle: bike racks are available at Innis.

By car: paid parking is available at the 107 St. George St. underground garage.

Innis is fully accessible.

Registration for workshops begins on April 2. Click JOIN / RENEW at the top of the website to start the process.

Facilitators Forum and Volunteer Recognition Luncheon, Thursday, April 18, 9:00 am. An invitation has been sent to facilitators and  volunteers with a request to RSVP by April 8.


Special Interest Groups

When you are considering workshops that interest you, don’t forget the Special Interest Groups (SIGS), available to all members of the Academy and offered online via Zoom.

Two are beginning in April and will continue throughout the spring and summer:

  • Health and Wellness. For those who are interested in what’s new and exciting in the field of health and wellness. Meets first Monday of the month at 4:30.
  • Travel. For those who like to travel and share where they’ve been or where they would like to go. Meets fourth Monday of the month. A leader is required for this group.
  • Other SIGs include Book Clubs A and B, Disruptive Technologies and Gardening.
