Academy Walk June 18 – Greenwood to the Neruda Restaurant

Thank you, Rhona, for leading us on Tuesday morning on one of our favourite Academy Walks. Our route ran from Greenwood
Station, through  various parklands, past a variety of artworks and places of worship on Rhodes Avenue, and then towards  Ashbridges Bay waterside trails.   The luncheon convened on the
terrace of the 'Neruda Restaurant', the latest  reincarnation of our old favourite, the former 'Boardwalk Café.  Here eleven of the 'long' walkers were joined by two of the 'short' walkers for a delicious, if somewhat slow-in-coming, lunch which was enjoyed by all.
