Ryerson (Toronto Metropolitan University) to Rosedale Walk: A Historical Wandering – Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at 11:00 am
Start: 11:00 am
Leader: Simon Pearson
Meet: TMU (Ryerson) Campus outside Heaslip House, 297 Victoria Street just north of Dundas (Dundas Subway).
This walk is centred on the Church and Wellesley neighbourhood. We will start near Yonge-Dundas Square, and end at the Rosedale subway. You might expect such a walk to be mainly on Yonge and/or Church Streets, but almost all of it is indirect, on back and side streets, through quadrangles, parks, parkettes, and even a ravine, with many unexpected pleasures on the route.
Lunch: The Rebel House pub near the Rosedale Subway Station
