Morrey Solway could always be counted on for his wit and wisdom in the Economist Readers workshop. He inevitably had a kind word for members of the group, several of whom considered him as one of their dear friends. We knew him for his generosity of spirit, his engaging smile and his fitting contributions to the group`s discussions.
He often spoke of his beloved wife, Lenore, and their family in the most glowing terms. Here is what his family said of him:
“Morrey, a brilliant, kind man, lived his life with a mission to make those around him feel comfortable and important. Most will remember Morrey for his quick wit both at the best and worst of times – he filled everyone with laughter.“
