In Remembrance – Eveleen Armour

Alas, another long-standing member of the Academy has died.

Eveleen Armour died peacefully in her sleep at her home last week.

Eveleen was a vibrant member of the Academy for many years.  She was a facilitator and a chairperson of the Talks committee, and thus was a board member too.

She was notable for her artistic flare and her eagerness to pitch in whenever the need arose.  Her exuberance in greeting friends was always a joy.

There will be an obituary in next weekend`s Globe and Mail   We will be adding more memories of Eveleen in the next AQR

We will miss the sparkle that Eveleen brought to the Academy
