Humber walk October 24, 2022 along river trail aerial view.

The weather was perfect and colorful Fall foliage at it’s best. Josie awaited  us at TTC Old Mill Station, welcomed our new member, May AhSue,  then led us on a loop along the well-trodden Humber trails, first heading north along the river’s edge stopping to admire the numerous low waterfalls and the brilliant trees, then  crossing Dundas St. West with it’s historic plaque of  ‘Toronto Carrying Place”, an Indigenous trail (1619 – 1793).

We then returned south along the eastern shores, ending at the cozy Dark Horse Tavern on Bloor Street West where we settled for refreshments.
