The Academy offers a wide array of opportunities to attend lectures by leading experts in a variety of fields. These are free to all Academy members. Members and guests are welcome to attend the Academy Inspiring Talks for free, and guests can attend the Distinguished Speakers Series for $10 per event. Guests can request attendance by emailing the Academy at academylifelonglearningto@gmail.com.
Academy Inspiring Talks
In fall and winter, the Inspiring Talks present a roster of interesting and diverse speakers. All Inspiring Talks are held at Tartu College, 310 Bloor Street West, Toronto. They are preceded by a Bring-Your-Own-Lunch, or buy a sandwich for $5, at 12:00 noon, with free coffee. The Talks themselves begin in the main auditorium at 1:15 pm.
