Tollkeeper’s Cottage & Wychwood Park
May 22, 2025 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Free

This is a guided tour of the Tollkeeper’s Cottage where tolls were collected before people could enter Toronto from 1835 to 1895. The Cottage shows the conditions of life for most early Torontonians-when almost everything residents ate, wore, or used was hand made by the men, women and children of the family. (Donations for the Cottage tour are welcome.)
Wychwood Park is a nearby enclave of woods, beautiful houses, a pond, a creek that was the home of artists and architects of the Arts and Crafts movement.
